2023 Annual Regatta

An excellent sized fleet of over 30 boats raced the 2023 Regatta. The 8-10mph NW wind that was predicted to veer to a lighter North westerly, did all of this and much more veering and backing in between.
Many congratulations to everyone taking part and in particular to the junior and youth members who were taking part in a club regatta for the first time. You all did so well in very difficult sailing conditions.

Grand Master - Over 70 on 1st March - Devoti D-Zero 255 - John Ellis
Novice - Has not won a major club trophy before - Laser/ILCA7 182245 - Phil Cosson
Keepsake Awards were made on the day to 1st Overall Helm, 1st Master, 1st Grand Master, 1st Youth, 1st Junior
A keepsake award for the 1st Overall Crew, 1st Novice, and the perpetual Trophies/Cups at the Scaling Dam Sailing Club End of Season Social Event in December 2023.
