2024 AGM - Operations Team Report

Operations Team Report.

Led by the Vice Commodore Chris Keats-Hannan.

The Operations Team was established last year as part of the new business structure for SDSWC. It is deemed as the 'Heart and Lungs' of the club as it includes the fundamental teams that keeps the club ticking over.

The Operation Team met at the beginning of the year to establish and discuss their vision for the season to come. I then met with each team individually throughout the season, either formally at their own meetings or as a general catchup and chat. I then took each team report and discussed it at the bimonthly Directors meeting.

Here is the yearly breakdown for what's been happening in each team during the 2023/24 season.

Finaly, I have mentioned some names specifically in my report, but this doesn't mean I don't recognise those of you who have given your time and commitment to make our club a fantastic one. The hard work and dedication of all the volunteer membership does not go un-noticed and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I am passionate about making the club a successful and thriving one, a club that everyone is proud of and wants to enjoy. We all are so lucky to live and be able to use the water in such a beautiful area of the country, but I can't do it without all your help so please join me next year in continuing to grow the club, so it remains here for the next 50 years and inspires the next generation to get out and enjoy the freedom of the water.
