AGM 2024 - Sailcamp

Sailcamp took place at the end of July, there were 28 campers aged 8-16 years old who enjoyed a week of sailing, games, camping and friendship, the young sailors were blessed with beautiful weather too.

During the week the days were filled with four days of getting out on the water sailing, paddling and instruction. One day was an activity day at East Barnby where the young sailors took part in indoor climbing and canoeing.

Wednesday was race night, a pursuit race was held and was open to all, there were two brand new trophies this year (1st sail camper and 1st non camper) Erin Young won overall as non-camper and Patrick Tulloch won the camper trophy. well done both.

The evenings were filled with fun games and activities with the week ending with a disco and BBQ.

Thank you to Carole Blades for organising such a good event and the many volunteer parents who cooked, cleaned and supervised.
