Thank you for taking the time to attend and participate in this Annual General Meeting. Please note that we might record this session.

Privacy Information

Scaling Dam Sailing and Watersports Club is the data controller of personal data recorded in this webinar. The Club has nominated Philip Brining as its Privacy Officer. The purpose of recording this webinar is to provide a referenceable resource for ourselves in order to produce accurate minutes and accurately count votes without interrupting the flow of the meeting. The lawful basis for processing is our own legitimate interests which in this case are to use recordings as outlined above.

It is our intention to retain the recordings only for as long as they are needed to produce the AGM minutes which we anticipate will be no longer than 2 months. Access to the recordings will be restricted to the officers of the Club responsible for producing and verifying the accuracy of the minutes. It is not our intention to make the recording available to Club Members.

You have the right to object to processing based on a legitimate interest and we would ask you to inform us if you wish to raise such an objection. If you would like us to pause the recording during this session please let us know and we will endeavour to respect your wishes. Please be aware that we may not uphold your objection. You also have the right to request access to and rectification or erasure of personal data relating to you contained in recordings as well as the right to a restriction of processing and the right to data portability in certain circumstances. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in the UK, the Information Commissioners Office.

We have chosen to deliver the session through Zoom making Zoom Inc. a data processor. If this involves the transfer of the recording to a third country we will ensure that a lawful mechanism is in place that provides sufficient safeguards pursuant to Chapter 5 of the GDPR. In the case of Zoom Inc. the transfer of personal data outside the EEA will be on the basis of standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
