Sail Camp

Sail Camp is a residential (camping) watersport activity-based week for up to forty 8-16 year old club members, held early in the school summer holidays. Sail Camp 2025 will run from the afternoon of Sunday 27th July through to the morning of Saturday 2nd August. During the week, five days revolve around sail-training, based on the range of junior RYA training courses, including Learn to Sail, Racing, and Sailing with Spinnakers/Seamanship . These days also include team games. One other day is spent doing other fun activities.

Sail Camp is a great opportunity for both children and their parents to get really involved in the club and get to know a large proportion of the membership. Application forms and details about Sail Camp go out with the membership renewal forms in the New Year, but late applications will be considered where places are available.

SAIL CAMP SERIES 2024

22 helms took part in this years' 6 race series Helms crewing a mixture of Laser 4.7s, Toppers, RS Teras, Fusions and a Mirror were split in to Gold, Silver and Bronze fleet based on ability and experience. Many congratulations to all those that took part.
