Scaling Dam Paddelfest 2024 will take place on 6th July. This event is for member and non members. The event includes SUP yoga, racing, slalom and safari, there will also be land based activities, Tai Chi and games. Refreshments will be available to purchase on site.

Also there will be time to paddle freely around Scaling Dam, which is a wonderful place for paddling, there are little coves to stop for a drink and cool your toes in the water, there are also breezes to challenge the more experienced Paddler.

We welcome and are encouraging all paddle crafts, paddlebaorders, kayakers and canoeists. Unfortunately there won't be the facility to hire craft on the day so everyone is required to bring their own craft, be a self-sufficient, competent and confident on the water. Also you need to be able to self rescue (with buddy assistance).

There will be activity sessions throughout the day but lessons for beginners are not provided. A safety boat will be on the water throughout the day.

All paddlers must wear either 'normal' style, foam filled buoyancy aids with shoulder straps or an inflatable waist belt, which you will need to provide yourself.

This is the first Paddlefest we are hosting at Scaling Dam and everyone is very excited, we want everyone to enjoy the day, have lots of fun and experience new activities. We want this to be a success and for it to become an annual event in everyone's diary.

Camping available for members only at a first come first served basis.

Following the event if you wish to become a member of Scaling Dam Sailing and Watersports Club, your ticket value will be deducted from your membership fee.
