PADDLEFEST 2025

We're gearing up for an incredible day at Scaling Dam and YOU are invited!

Scaling Dam Paddlefest 2025 on 12th July is going to be a day packed with adventure, fun, and unforgettable memories and we want YOU to be there! Whether you're a member or a non-member, this event is for paddlers of all kinds, so grab your gear and get ready for an epic experience!

Here's a glimpse of what's in store:

• SUP Yoga to find your balance and serenity on the water
• High-speed Racing to challenge your skills and feel the rush
• Safari Adventures to discover hidden gems around the dam
• Land-Based Fun with Tai Chi sessions, workshops, talks and more
• Delicious Refreshments available to purchase on the day

Plus, enjoy some atmospheric beats from our live DJ, setting the perfect vibe as you paddle, relax, and have fun. Feel the rhythm as you race, challenge yourself, and unwind by the water!

You'll also have plenty of time to freely paddle around Scaling Dam with stunning views, peaceful coves, and breezes that'll keep the more experienced paddlers on their toes. Stop for a refreshing drink, dip your toes in the water, or just enjoy the serenity.

We welcome ALL paddle crafts whether you're on a paddleboard, kayak, or canoe! Just remember to bring your own craft, as rentals won't be available. Participants must be self-sufficient, confident on the water, and able to self-rescue (with buddy assistance).

Throughout the day, there'll be activity sessions, but please note that we're not offering beginner lessons. And don't worry a safety boat will be on standby to ensure everything runs smoothly.

For your safety, all paddlers MUST wear either a foam-filled buoyancy aid with shoulder straps or an inflatable waist belt, which you must provide yourself.

This is our secnd Paddlefest at Scaling Dam, and we can't wait to make it an epic celebration! We want everyone to have an unforgettable time, try new activities, and leave with a smile.

Entry Fees:

• Members: £15
• Non-Members: £35

Camping is available for members only, on a first-come, first-served basis.

SPECIAL OFFER: If you decide to join Scaling Dam Sailing & Watersports Club after the event, your ticket price will be deducted from your membership fee!
